Rickwoods Office Supplies is a large independent Queensland owned and operated Office Product company: with a network covering Australia. Since 1914 Rickwoods has been supplying Queenslanders with their original base of domestic and commercial furniture then expanding and diversifying in 1988 into the office product industry. In year 2000 our product range was extended into the self-storage arena. Located in the very central suburb of Coorparoo in Brisbane our location streamlines our efficient distribution. Our location and our Australian network enable us to provide a “Free”* next day delivery service to all metropolitan areas across Australia with very remote clients just another two-day’s delivery away.
Our computer system has been designed to enable us to easily update as new technology becomes available. At present it incorporates the latest Information Technology such as E-Commerce, Full Inventory Control, Quality reporting for all of our customers to name but a few. We employ a full compliment of personnel, from Sales Representatives and Customer Service staff who process your orders, to our Store Team who collate and pack your orders and ultimately our delivery team who ensure the order is delivered on time in a professional manner. We have total control of your order from receipt to delivery.
Central Billing
If a client has a number of Cost Centres and requires them to be linked to the Head Office account, the process is commonly referred to as Central Billing. The two main benefits of Central Billing are that only one Statement is produced, which in turn requires only one payment to be reconciled. The other main feature is that specially negotiated contract prices are only required to be entered into the Billing and Inventory system under the Head Office Account, allowing instant pricing benefit to each Cost Centre.
Contract Pricing
Contract Prices are specially negotiated prices that are entered into the Rickwoods Billing and Inventory System and are locked in for a designated period of time. Therefore as soon as the product is accessed under your account your contract prices will automatically be displayed. One month prior to your contract expiring, your Sales Representative can advise you of any pricing fluctuations that may have occurred.
Reports
We have a wide range of standard reports, as well as adhoc reports that are available upon request. The majority of reports are available in Microsoft Excel Format as well as the conventional hard copy.
They include but are not limited to the following –
Back Order Reports state exactly what is on back order with the estimated time of arrival.
Product Usage Reports list the products purchased over any period of time by the client.
12-Month Sales Report states the total sales/purchases for the client over a 12-month time frame.
This report is not limited to timeframes.
Top?? Product by Volume or cost lists a specified amount of products by the highest to lowest usage.
